💡 ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a ZK Cryptographer, you will lead the development of the first zero-knowledge rollup in the Polkadot ecosystem. You’ll contribute to building resilient, cross-chain infrastructure that enables scalable and secure DeFi applications. The role involves advancing ZK proof systems, working with cryptographic protocols, and collaborating on next-generation blockchain technologies.

💼 WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Design and implement zero-knowledge proof systems and rollups
Build cryptographic infrastructure in Rust, C++, or Go, with emphasis on Rust Substrate
Develop protocols for cross-chain and cross-layer communication
Explore scalability techniques such as Layer 2 solutions and recursive zk-proofs
Contribute to projects in the Polkadot ecosystem and related cryptographic initiatives

Rust (with Substrate)

🔎 WHO YOU ARE:

Experienced in Rust, C++, or Go, with strong cryptography and blockchain development background
Familiar with ZK protocols such as Plonk and Plonky
Knowledgeable in scalability solutions (Optimistic and zk-based rollups)
Experienced with recursive zk-proofs and relay-para-chain structures
Strong interest in DeFi and the Polkadot ecosystem
Independent, motivated, and capable of working remotely in a contractor-style role
