Join an ambitious fintech building a global digital payments network as a Technical Lead. In this full-time remote role, you’ll lead a small team of engineers to build resilient API products and backend services in Go. 💡 ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Product Engineering Technical Lead, you’ll guide a team in building event-driven, composable, distributed systems that power a modern payments network. You’ll design resilient integrations with external partners, improve engineering standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features. This role combines hands-on coding with leadership and mentorship, driving innovation in fintech payments.
💼 WHAT YOU’LL DO AS TECHNICAL LEAD:
- Lead and mentor a small team of engineers building core API products and backend services
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to prioritize and deliver features
- Build secure, resilient, and scalable distributed systems in G
- Develop REST, RPC, and event-driven interfaces for internal and external consumption
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes as the company scales
💻 TECH STACK:
- Go (primary)
- Distributed systems architectures
- REST, RPC, and event-driven APIs
🔎 WHO YOU ARE:
- Experienced leader with strong communication skills and team-building mindset
- Able to design abstractions and simplify complex, uncertain problems
- Proven track record of delivering software end-to-end, from design to production
- Skilled in developing distributed, reliable, and maintainable systems
- Substantial Go programming experience, plus exposure to other languages
- Passionate about building inclusive, collaborative engineering environments
