💡 ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Senior Go Engineer, you’ll contribute to the full feature development lifecycle, writing maintainable, performant code while collaborating across diverse teams. You’ll focus on automation, scalability, and reliability, using modern cloud-native tools. This is a hands-on engineering role with opportunities to mentor teammates and influence technical direction.
💼 WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A SENIOR GO ENGINEER:
- Write clean, secure, well-tested Go code to solve real-world business challenges
- Build tools and integrate systems to scale product effectiveness
- Incorporate automation best practices to reduce waste and errors
- Operate and improve the services you and your team build
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product managers
- Mentor and support fellow developers in a collaborative environment
💻 TECH STACK:
- Go (Golang)
- Elixir, Java, TypeScript, React
- PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Firebase, Cassandra, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Neo4J
- Docker & Docker Compose
- AWS (preferred), other public cloud platforms
- Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions (CI/CD)
🔎 WHO YOU ARE:
- Experienced Go engineer with 3+ years of commercial development
- Strong knowledge of databases and distributed systems
- Skilled in Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Familiar with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Advocate for testing practices like TDD
- Collaborative, empathetic, and driven to mentor others
- Comfortable with Git or other distributed version control systems
