💡 ABOUT THE ROLE:

You will be responsible for building and maintaining Go-based service layers that integrate deeply with Kubernetes and Kafka. This role combines backend development, system design, and team collaboration in a fast-paced, containerized environment where you’ll influence architecture and mentor fellow engineers.

💼 WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A SENIOR GO DEVELOPER:

• Write high-quality, tested code in Go
• Lead code reviews and backend architectural discussions
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers on product features
• Work asynchronously with international teams across the USA and UK
• Ship features in a containerized, continuous delivery environment
• Adapt quickly to evolving requirements and business needs
• Mentor and guide less experienced team members

💻 TECH STACK:

• Go (Golang) for backend services
• Kubernetes and Kafka for infrastructure and messaging
• React, TypeScript, GraphQL on the frontend
• Containerized CI/CD environment

🔎 WHO YOU ARE:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Skilled in Go, Kubernetes, and Kafka
• Experienced in building complex, high-performance applications
• Strong in problem solving, system design, and debugging
• Familiar with web-based APIs and user-focused development
• Clear communicator with the ability to give and receive feedback

💰 COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Permanent: £80,000–£140,000 / €100,000–€175,000
• Contract: £600–£750 per day / €650–€900
