SENIOR BACKEND ENGINEER (GO) | $130K–$245K DOE | REMOTE – WORLDWIDE

📍 LOCATION:
Remote, worldwide
Flexibility to work preferred hours with availability for team sessions (8–10 am PST on some days)
💡 ABOUT THE ROLE:
In this role, you will design and build highly available, scalable backend systems and APIs while contributing to key architectural decisions and technical design discussions. You’ll work within a remote-first engineering culture that emphasizes autonomy, clear communication, and continuous growth.
💼 WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop backend systems, microservices, and public-facing APIs in Go
- Ensure code quality, readability, and maintainability with minimal technical debt
- Participate in peer code reviews and knowledge sharing
- Contribute to architectural design and decision-making
💻 TECH STACK:
- Golang
- Microservices, containers, and orchestration tools
- Protobuf and gRPC
- HTTP protocol
- Cosmos SDK, Tendermint Core, Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC)
🔎 WHO YOU ARE:
- 6+ years of backend engineering experience, including 4+ years with Go
- Skilled in Go best practices, concurrency, packages, and reflection
- Strong background in API design and package development
- Solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals (networks, OS, data structures, compilers)
- Experienced with containerized systems and distributed architectures
