LEAD SENIOR SRE | €90–110 PER HOUR | NETHERLANDS (CONTRACT)
Join a global leader in digital transformation as a Lead Senior SRE. In this contract role, you’ll work on greenfield digital products across industries, building scalable backends, managing infrastructure, and delivering high-impact solutions in close collaboration with product teams.

You’ll join a cross-functional team of product, design, engineering, and data experts building next-generation digital solutions. Teams operate independently, working closely with clients across finance, gaming, retail, energy, and beyond. These roles focus on backend engineering, site reliability, and infrastructure, ensuring products are robust, scalable, and user-focused.
💼 WHAT YOU’LL DO AS LEAD SENIOR SRE:
- Design and build backend systems in Go, focusing on API development
- Manage and support large datasets with scalability in mind
- Make architectural and design decisions in collaboration with product teams
- Apply security best practices and review peer code via pull requests
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with CircleCI or GitHub Actions
- Set up and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, Terraform)
- Monitor, support, and optimize applications in production
- Work closely with product owners to size and prioritize work
- Balance technical debt management with feature delivery

🔎 WHO YOU ARE:
- Experienced backend or site reliability engineer with proven Go or SRE expertise
- Skilled in building and scaling greenfield products across diverse industries
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
- Familiar with the full software development lifecycle
- Comfortable working autonomously in small cross-functional teams
- Commercially minded, able to make trade-offs for business value
- Experience in both startup and large corporate environments is a plus
