This is a contract opportunity to join a global digital transformation leader, working in innovation labs to deliver cutting-edge products across industries. As a Senior Go Developer, you’ll join cross-functional teams building greenfield projects with modern cloud, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling, contributing directly to product and business outcomes.

💡 ABOUT THE ROLE:

You will join a dedicated product team responsible for designing, building, and supporting backend systems using Go and Kubernetes. Working closely with engineers, designers, product managers, and clients, you’ll deliver real-world solutions while making key architectural and technical decisions. This role is ideal for developers who thrive in collaborative, fast-moving environments.

💼 WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A SENIOR GO DEVELOPER:

Develop backend systems in Go with Kubernetes orchestration
Make architectural and design decisions for greenfield products
Work with large datasets and build scalable APIs
Apply security best practices and ensure code quality through reviews
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, GitHub Actions)
Deploy and manage infrastructure on GCP, AWS, or Azure with Terraform
Monitor, support, and optimize deployed applications
Collaborate with product owners on sizing and prioritization
Balance technical debt with delivery of new features

💻 TECH STACK:

Go (Golang) for backend development
Kubernetes for orchestration
GCP, AWS, Azure for cloud infrastructure
Terraform for infrastructure as code
CI/CD with CircleCI and GitHub Actions
API development and large dataset management

Experienced in backend engineering with Go and Kubernetes
Strong in architectural design and API development
Skilled in cloud platforms and infrastructure automation
Knowledgeable in CI/CD processes and deployment pipelines
Able to work autonomously in cross-functional teams

Bonus: experience across startups and large organizations

💰 COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

£500–£550 per day (Outside IR35 for UK contractors)
Up to €600 per day for EU-based contractors
